B.S. Chemistry | University of Central Arkansas (2022)

Adrian Brown was born and raised in the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas. He liked to play outside and watch cartoons growing up, and played trombone from middle school through college. In school, he was always interested in science, and loved to perform experiments in science labs. This love followed him to college, where he majored in chemistry.

During his undergraduate career at the University of Central Arkansas, he researched under the mentorship of Dr. Tori Dunlap, where he purified and investigated PEP-19 in various buffers. After graduating from UCA, Adrian decided to further his education at The University of Rhode Island, where he is now a graduate student in the chemistry Ph.D. program.
